Step into the bespoke elegance of this restored 1912 home with five locally-inspired guest suites, a speakeasy lounge, and inviting gathering spaces. The Gaston is a unique Dallas bed & breakfast and a cozy event rental with unmatched style and service.
This is not your grandma's bed and breakfast. As you step through the door of this craftsman bungalow, you'll be struck by the sophisticated design – contemporary but honoring the house’s heritage. Moody wallpaper is paired with traditional crown molding, textures like marble, brass and brick are balanced by plush velvet, buttery leather, and live plants – the effect is both striking and inviting. As a female-run business, the property was designed by Liz Gibson. Her mother, Maureene, runs the day-to-day operations of the property – you'll get to know and love her throughout your stay.
The Gaston Speakeasy is a prohibition-inspired lounge, where you can step behind the bar to craft your own cocktails. There isn't a bartender on staff, but the "honesty bar" is stocked with popular mixes and libations for you to enjoy. Breakfast is served daily in The Gaston Speakeasy. On weekdays, guests enjoy a continental-style breakfast with tasty options like pastries and croissants, fresh fruit, and yogurt. For weekend mornings, don't miss the home-cooked breakfast alongside the continental offerings.
Conveniently located in Old East Dallas, just two miles from downtown and only a short drive from the Dallas Arboretum, Dallas Reunion Tower, The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, Dallas World Aquarium, White Rock Lake Park, and more!
