What it's like

As you approach the Hotel Arvon, take in the details and the craftsmanship that have stood the test of time. Featuring only twenty-two rooms and eleven suites, this intimate property offers you a top-tier experience of a property on the National Historic Registry. At every turn, you'll find period details and art that educate and inspire you about Montana's early days. Small touches

Hotel Arvon boasts 33 rooms mixing the past with the present in the design and furnishings. Each room has original artwork provided by local artists.  Only 15 rooms have exterior windows (common of late-1800s boarding houses). However, every room has a source of natural light. There are light wells bringing in natural light to the hallways and frosted hallway windows in some rooms while others have skylights.

Eat and drink

Robert Vaughn, the Welsh Immigrant who built Arvon Block, was affectionately known as "Celtic Cowboy" by the press. Fast forward a century-or-so and you'll find “The Celtic Cowboy Pub and Restaurant” at the Hotel Arvon, evoking the lively times of the past.  Guests enjoy complimentary continental breakfast provided at the pub including house-made breakfast burritos, egg frittata, granola and coffee cake. You'll find locals and guests alike mingling at this establishment for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks.
