Immerse yourself in the charm of the Lower East Side.
Set in a lovingly restored 1879 tenement building, The Historic Blue Moon Hotel transports you into another world while still providing easy access to New York City's most vibrant and artsy contemporary culture.
A rare combination of tranquility and excitement.
Stepping through the doors of this historic building feels a lot like walking into a museum. Closed for 70 years starting in the 1930s, the former tenement apartments have been converted into hotel guest rooms, making them perfect time capsules from Depression-era Manhattan. Personal effects and artifacts were collected and re-purposed, finding new life in the present day. Wood moldings became picture frames, wrought iron created window balconies, and original knobs and hinges adorn many doors throughout the building. These little pieces of history blend perfectly with modern elegance, contemporary amenities, and fantastic service to create The Historic Blue Moon Hotel.
Where every corner tells a story of the past.
